Student Technology Support at Bucknell University
ITEC supports student use of technology in many ways:
In-class training – Faculty who are planning an assignment using technology can request in-class training on technologies for their students. Some of the past technologies for which ITEC has done in-class trainings include GIS, video production and editing, audio podcasting, and blog writing using WordPress.
Peer Technology Consultants – The Peer Technology Consultants offer out-of-class technology help for students. Our consultants can provide support for various technologies, such as Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, WordPress, and Google Apps for Education. The Technology Consultants can be found every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m. in BERT025.
Video Proctors – ITEC’s video proctors are available during evening hours in the Digital Video Editing Lab on LL1 of the Bertrand Library. Many of our proctors are Film/Media Studies majors or minors who have extensive experience with the video production and editing process.
One-to-one instruction on specific technologies or projects with ITEC staff is available by appointment. Write to firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about training possibilities.
