Bucknell has a site license for Lynda.com course content, allowing faculty, staff, and students to access the full catalog of courses available at Lynda.com. Lynda.com has nearly 13,000 video tutorials covering multiple software packages and other technology-related skills. If your course will require students to use a particular program, you can search for related video tutorials on Lynda.com, and you can provide links to a video course or courses so that your students can learn the skills they need. You can access the site by clicking on the link allowing direct log in:
You can also go to http://www.lynda.com, click on the “Log in” link in the top-right corner of the page, and then click on the “Go” button to log into the site without having to re-type your Bucknell credentials:
Faculty, staff, and students, can browse or search for courses on Lynda.com, and (as we mentioned above) faculty members can add links to such courses within their Moodle courses. Here are detailed instructions on how to add a link to a Lynda.com course from your course Moodle site.
